“I’ve been OSV’s biggest advocate because I’ve been very happy about how they collaborate with me, how they’re willing to negotiate: ‘Hey, this might be better for you guys,’ or ‘You know what? I think you still need that support.’ We’re making decisions together, and that’s the part that I like. It’s really about the collaboration — that’s why I’m such an advocate for OSV.”
Ivon Dominguez, Senior Payroll Manager, Osaic
A partnership that evolved with their needs
Ivon Dominguez has spent 30 years in payroll, working with big-box payroll processing providers who offered one-size-fits-all solutions and impersonal service. When she joined Osaic and inherited OneSource Virtual (OSV), she wasn't sure what to expect from a smaller provider.
Over eight years, the partnership evolved significantly. Osaic started with Managed Payroll, then transitioned to Payroll Premium, and eventually to Payroll Administration as their internal team grew from one to three people. OSV scaled right alongside them, adapting their services to match Osaic's changing needs.
"They're just dependable, they're friendly, and they're willing to go that extra mile if the company needs it," Ivon says.
Payroll experts who feel like your own team
When you ask Ivon what sets OSV apart from other payroll processing providers, she talks about people, not features.
"I see them as our team members, too. They're kind of like the experts," she says. "It's not us against them. We're collectively a team. Even though we're in different companies, we're still trying to get to that one goal, and that's to have a perfect payroll."
Her two team members, both of whom previously worked with OSV's competitors, immediately noticed the difference. "They like that we've built a relationship with your folks, to the point where it's not just professional, but also a personal friendship," Ivon explains.
Flexibility when your team is ready to grow
As Osaic’s payroll team matured and gained capability, OSV adapted. “There was a period of time where we had the capability to hire someone else,” Ivon explains. “It was obvious we didn’t necessarily need OSV at that point to do a managed payroll.”
Instead of losing support entirely, Osaic downsized to OSV’s Payroll Administration service tier. This shift enabled them to handle day-to-day operations internally while maintaining access to OSV’s specialized Workday expertise for complex configurations.
“We still need them to be the expert. We still need them to help us with creating codes, and there were a couple of things where my team doesn’t necessarily have the expertise on,” Ivon says.

Osaic’s story demonstrates what’s possible when payroll processing providers prioritize collaboration over transactions, flexibility over rigid service models, and genuine partnership over generic support.
