Tory Burch increases collaboration

Tory Burch needed a one-stop shop to replace its existing siloed systems. Workday provided a singular approach and OneSource Virtual provided the support needed to unite teams.

"[When it comes to] the communication between the talent team, the Workday team, the payroll team, all these different entities that operate independently from each other, we now have these permanent bridges between us."

Administrative to analytical

Tory Burch wanted to combine multiple systems of record into one robust, easy-to-use toolset, and they needed a payroll partner who could operate in tandem.

This would enable Tory Burch to shift from time-consuming administrative and monotonous task management to a more strategic approach to data analysis and key business objectives.

Workday provided the single source of truth, and OneSource Virtual (OSV) provided the integrated services Tory Burch had been searching for.

Better data, better processes

The combination of Workday and OSV stood out from other HCM systems, including Tory Burch's previous payroll provider, ADP.

"ADP is very flat. Everything is just flat data," says Evan Saltzman, Senior Payroll Analyst for Tory Burch.

"Workday, once you start getting into it and playing with it, you really start to see these things as like a 3D shape that you can twist and turn and create all sorts of different audits and really automate so much of the process. On ADP and a lot of other systems there's so much manual work that you are the process.”

Maximizing Workday with OSV

Transitioning to a new HCM system is a big investment. OSV is focused on ensuring organizations make the most of that investment with a proactive and personable service approach.

"One of the great things that I like — and this is really rare in my experience — is the proactiveness of OSV," Evan says. "You guys will call me up if you see something that is objectively wrong or where you say 'this is not right.' Most payroll providers will just kind of let it go, let them figure it out or deal with it."

“I have a specific team that's dedicated to us. It's really more of a relationship. Just the fact that it's more of a collaboration between the two of us and not like I'm working with this big entity that doesn't see us as a company or me as an individual.”
