Can Your HRIS Help You Prepare for a Return to Work?

Can Your HRIS Help You Prepare for a Return to Work?

With several promising COVID-19 vaccines on the horizon, it’s possible that life could return to some semblance of normal in late 2021. And that could include, finally, a return to shared office spaces.

Until then, individuals and businesses need to tread carefully. COVID cases and hospitalizations have already broken new records, and health experts are predicting a difficult winter ahead.

Even so, it’s not too early to put plans in place so you’re prepared when a safe return is possible.

Masking, social distancing, and proper hygiene will all play an important role for the foreseeable future. But there are other important considerations to keep in mind. For instance, what—if anything—can your HRIS do to help you protect your employees?

As a Workday-exclusive service partner, we’ve created materials to help both customers and non-customers of OSV understand Workday’s capabilities in this area.

In this blog, we want to quickly highlight two very important ones: the Health Attestation Survey and the View Response Rate Report.

Health Attestation Survey

With Workday’s survey capabilities, HR has an easy way of asking employees a range of important questions, such as, “Are you experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19?” or “Have you had contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19?”

By creating a simple survey with questions like these and setting the recurrence to daily, HR can automate an important task that might otherwise get lost among HR’s many other critical activities.

View Survey Response Rate Report

As important as the Health Attestation Survey is, it’s not accomplishing its goal if HR doesn’t have insight into who has taken the survey and who hasn’t.

That’s where the View Survey Response Rate Report comes in.

This valuable report, which is customizable, gives HR important insights so that leaders are equipped with the knowledge they need to create a safer workplace that protects the health of employees.
