Letter from our CEO - Fourth Quarter 2015
Last quarter, I told you about the investment we received from Technology Crossover Ventures, and explained how these funds will allow OneSource Virtual to continue innovating within our industry, keeping pace with Workday’s technological development, empowering our customers with state-of-the-art solutions and services, and maintaining sustained growth. I’m thrilled to report on how well this expansion has progressed in just a few short months and how we’re building on the successes of 2015 to prepare for the future.
In September, we announced the opening of a new office in Derry, Northern Ireland that will provide deployment, application management services and payroll services. The opening of the Derry facility will create hundreds of jobs over the next few years, and allow us to deliver more service hours to both our existing U.S. customers and our new customers in Europe. But, as I’ve said before, it’s not about hiring people. It’s about finding the right people.
Each year, Northern Ireland’s university system produces thousands of tech-savvy business graduates who blend into the area’s workforce population of enthusiastic entry-level talent and seasoned business professionals. If we’re trying to find the right people in Northern Ireland who will embrace OSV’s core values and align with our spirit of innovation, Derry is the right place to be.
Expansion overseas may be a geographical first for OneSource Virtual, but strategic growth and development is familiar territory. The Derry facility is our third processing center. This is more than just an initial phase of international expansion. The expansion into Northern Ireland marks the beginning of OSV’s natural evolution as a global organization.
Over the last few years, significant wins in the large enterprise sector have continued to help us understand how to expand services. We’ve demonstrated to customers and competitors that our Workday services, BPaaS delivery model, and consulting solutions are scalable and superior to alternatives. We’ve proven that a shared vision of innovation produces meaningful, lasting relationships with customers and partners alike. Perhaps most importantly, we’ve shown the industry that when we put OSV’s company values into practice, they result in a limitless potential for success.
