Leading outsourcing provider donates more than 2,000 hours to community outreach programs in 2013

(DALLAS) January 16, 2014OneSource Virtual (OneSource), the leading cloud-based BPO provider, completed a year of community outreach with a holiday food drive and angel tree. OneSource Virtual employees gave more than 2,000 hours in 2013 to service organizations at both the national and local levels.

OneSource Virtual employees collected more than 1,000 meals for a holiday food drive benefiting the North Texas Food Bank, and gathered gifts for 40 children and families in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, as they wrapped up their biggest year of service efforts. "In motivating our employees to give back to those less fortunate than themselves, we hope to create an environment where seeking the best for others becomes part of their everyday lives,” said Wesley Bryan, Co-founder and President and COO of OneSource Virtual. Serving others and giving back to the community is vital to OneSource’s success. The company revamped its on-boarding process to include a community service element. All new hires complete three hours of community service at the North Texas Food Bank where their efforts have contributed 38,898 pounds of food, 24 complete pallets, 741 full boxes, and more than 20,000 meals for North Texas families. “We are very appreciative of OneSource Virtual’s efforts in giving back to our organization,” said Jasmin Milz Holmstrup, Director, Corporate Engagement for the North Texas Food Bank. “Through our programs and partnerships, we aim to meet the critical needs of families across North Texas, and OneSource Virtual is helping us achieve our mission. We are grateful for their continued support and affiliation.” In addition to working with the North Texas Food Bank, OneSource employees volunteered in a multitude of ways with various organizations throughout the country, including:
